Germicidal Lamps
Germicidal
lamps are low pressure mercury vapor tubes that produce ultraviolet waves that
are lethal to microorganisms. Germicidal lamps should not be confused with sun
lamps or black light lamps, though these are also ultraviolet lamps.
Approximately 95% of the ultraviolet energy emitted from our germicidal lamps is
at the mercury resonance line of 2,537 angstroms. This wavelength is in the
region of maximum germicidal effectiveness and is highly lethal to virus,
bacteria and mold spores. Please allow three weeks for delivery.
Pitchfork
Our all stainless
steel pitchfork is easy to clean and is scratch and rust resistant. It is
designed for the food industry with all welds ground smooth. It is electropolished after
fabrication to pass the most rigid sanitary inspections.

Tempering Valve
Our temperature regulating valve is designed
to change the temperature of incoming water to a more desirable, predetermined
temperature. It can be adjusted to deliver water within close tolerances of
temperatures ranging between 15° and 120° F. Its thermostat automatically
compensates for fluctuations in the incoming water pressure and temperature with
a minimum of pressure drop. Temperature change is accomplished with a simple
turn of the adjustment screw. The temperature valve will operate
satisfactorily when installed in any position. Incoming water temperature should
not, as a rule, be within 10°F of the desired water temperature. However,
depending upon plumbing arrangement, pressure differences and other
variables, the installation of two valves may successfully eliminate the
problem. Working pressure should not exceed 150 psi. Surge pressure should
not exceed 300 psi.

Timer
Our
table top timers give you push button control of up to four independent
circuits. They are most commonly used in the sprout industry to
control watering times. They can be used to operate electrical devices
such as lights, valves, solenoids, pumps, motors, fans or other equipment.
With twenty independent On/Off programs--or up to 40 programs optional--you can
exercise control right to the second, every day of the week.
Time settings are entered from the keyboard, with
settings displayed on the digital clock during entry. Any or all of the
available programs can be applied to an individual output, so the On/Off
sequencing can be as simple or as complex as you require.
Our timers are also available in wall mount and rack mount
versions with up to 16 outputs.
Features:
- Cycle times from two seconds to one year
- Six-digit display shows hours, minutes and seconds
- Directly replaces multiple mechanical timers
- Tamper-resistant locking keyboard
- Program up to one year in advance
- Weekly cycle with day omission
- Battery backup keeps time even during power outages
- Countdown timer
- Field-proven dependability
- Up to 16 inputs
- General lighting control/Photoperiodic simulation
- Process control
- Activate Solenoid

UV Water Purifiers
Water
purification through the use of ultraviolet rays is effectively and rapidly
accomplished without the use of heat or chemicals. Special germicidal
ultraviolet lamps are utilized to produce short wave radiation lethal to
bacteria, viruses, and other microorganism present in common water. Ultraviolet
energy at 2,537 angstroms (a measure of wavelength) is required for
complete destruction of some microorganisms. The rays created by these lamps are
shorter in wavelength than the shortest ultraviolet rays that penetrate the
earth's atmosphere from the sun. This unique and rapid method of water
purification is often used in hospitals, laboratories and veterinaries.
Pharmaceutical manufacturers, food processors and bottlers use germicidal
lamps to prevent product contamination and, in some instances, for the cold
sterilization of the finished product. For commercial sprouting, ultraviolet
water purifiers are best utilized in treating incoming water or for water.
