Removing the Water from Sprouts
 Once
you have removed the seed hulls (skins) from the sprouts, you will need to
remove excess water before shipping
them. This is to extend the shelf
life by up to 40% over wet bean sprouts. This process is only necessary if
you use a the water bath method (ISS Bean Sprout Washing
System). There are two methods for removing the water - spinning the
sprouts so the water flings out, or blowing the water off the sprouts. The
air knives are the method of choice by larger growers as it is an in-line
process that requires no labor other than clean-up. Please view our
