The Trac System
In a 10 x 21 ft. (3m x 6.4m)
area, the standard TRAC I system will produce over 3,000 lbs. (1360.8 kg) of
finished bulk sprouts per harvest, or nearly 700 12-pack cases of
container grown sprouts. That's a compact, well-organized system. Used in
conjunction with our Rota-Tech drum sprouting system, our TRAC III system can
achieve up to 18,000 lbs. (8,181 kg) per week.
Use the Trac System
to grow sprouts of alfalfa, almonds, arugula,
barley, basil, beet, broccoli, buckwheat,
cabbage, cauliflower, celery, clover, corn, cress, daikon, dill, fennel,
fenugreek, garlic, leek, lettuce, mizuna, mustard,
oats, onion, pea, popcorn, pumpkin, radish,
rape, rye, sango, shisho, tatsoi, and wheat.
The TRAC System saves time and labor
The sprouting
racks are designed to be loaded and unloaded by one person at a single work
station and glide on smooth operating casters. The high maneuverability of these
racks greatly contribute to the time saving efficiency of the TRAC System. With
trays spread and racks in place, the TRAC System takes over. An overhead
tractor moves a spray bar along the track, gently watering the trays with
precision and accuracy. The TRAC System operates day and night on a schedule
that is completely programmed. The greening lights can be programmed for
the entire growth process. The TRAC System helps you achieve the precise
conditions and growing cycles for your crop, and insures a consistent quality,
maximum yield output, with a minimum amount of labor.
The TRAC System simplifies the growing process
Every
control you need to operate the TRAC system is at your fingertips. The console
is the brain center of the TRAC System. The speed and duration of the
watering tractor, the lighting zones and their on-off operations, the monitoring
of machine and environmental conditions are all done automatically. An
optional telephone dialing system can call up to four pre-programmed numbers
until it gets a response. You can set the TRAC and call at your convenience to
monitor progress by getting reports on all conditions in spoken English.
The TRAC is a clean, sanitary sprouting system
Not only is the TRAC System easy to clean, it also has two optional germicidal
lights that travel with the spray bar. The moving germicidal light minimizes
shadows and helps assure all surfaces will receive sterilizing light. The
germicidal light timer which allows you to select the time of day and the
duration of the sterilization process. The light itself is housed in a
protective stainless steel cage. Germicidal lights have long been recognized as
being effective in killing harmful bacteria and fungi that jeopardize sprout
growing success. As the germicidal light increases hygiene, shelf life is
increased accordingly. Germicidal light, perfect spray patterns, plus ease of
movement and cleaning, make the TRAC System a must system for your
ever-expanding sprout business.
The TRAC
System is available in three models
The TRAC System is
expandable from TRAC I to TRAC II, and TRAC III, which grows 6,000 lbs.
(2,721.56 kg) per harvest. That's 18,000 lbs. (8,182 kg) per week when
used in conjunction with our Rota-Tech System.
